Stove Kraft Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 2,780.55 million compared to INR 2,613.32 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 2,797.83 million compared to INR 2,591.4 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 60.02 million compared to net income of INR 86.46 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 1.82 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 2.63 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 1.82 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 2.59 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 12,838.47 million compared to INR 11,363.59 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 12,803.42 million compared to INR 11,347.93 million a year ago. Net income was INR 357.7 million compared to INR 562.15 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.87 compared to INR 17.21 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.86 compared to INR 16.96 a year ago.
Stove Kraft Limited is an India-based kitchen and home solutions company. The Company is engaged in the manufacture and retail of a suite of kitchen and home solutions under the brand names Pigeon, Gilma and BLACK+DECKER. The Company operates through the Kitchen and Home Appliances segment. It is also engaged primarily in the business of the manufacture of pressure cookers, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stoves, non-stick cookware, and trading of other kitchen and electrical appliances. It provides post-sales services in relation to a range of products, such as blenders and juicers, breakfast appliances, small cooking appliances and small domestic appliances. Its kitchen solutions include emergency lamps, water bottles, flasks, aluminum ladders, mops and storage boxes. The Company has a separate distribution spread across 10 states for Black+Decker. The Company has two manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
