Dong-A Socio Holdings Co. Ltd. (KOSE:A000640) agreed to acquire additional 10% stake in ST Pharm Co. Ltd. from Dong-A ST Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A170900) for KRW 25.9 billion on December 24, 2015. Dong-A ST Co., Ltd. will sell 1.4 million shares of ST Pharm Co. Ltd. for KRW 18,500 per share. Pre deal, Dong-A Socio Holdings Co held 9.98679% stake and following the completion of the deal, Dong-A Socio Holdings Co. will own 2.8 million shares representing 19.99% stake in ST Pharm Co. ST Pharm Co. Ltd. reported total assets of KRW 142.37 billion, sales of KRW 96.54 billion and net profit of KRW 5.47 billion for the year ending December 31, 2014. The Board of Dong-A Socio Holdings Co resolved the deal on December 24, 2015. The deal is expected to close on December 24, 2015.
