SSI Group, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was PHP 2,278.303 million compared to PHP 5,004.646 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 285.242 million compared to net income of PHP 175.399 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.09 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.05 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was PHP 7,299.089 million compared to PHP 14,855.645 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 761.536 million compared to net income of PHP 521.341 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.23 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.16 a year ago.
SSI Group, Inc. is a Philippines-based specialty retailer. The Companyâs retail network consists of 524 stores located within approximately 80 malls across the Philippines, including Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, with a total gross selling space of approximately 101,184 square meters. The Company's network of stores offers a range of categories and brands, from luxury and bridge apparel to casual wear and fast fashion, footwear, accessories and luggage, food, home and decor, and beauty and personal care. The Company represents approximately 85 brands, including Hermes, Cartier, and Salvatore Ferragamo for premium luxury apparel and accessories, Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear, and Old Navy for fast fashion and others. Its portfolio consists of international brands and retail formats. It owns one property, the Central Square building, which is located at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, with a total gross floor area of 33,813 square meters.
