SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENT

Mr Ivan Neo will retire as Executive Vice President Operations

and Mr Foo Kean Shuh will succeed Mr Neo

SINGAPORE, 08 November 2021 - SIA Engineering Company Limited (the "Company" or "SIAEC") today announced that Mr Ivan Neo Seok Kok will retire as Executive Vice President Operations ("EVPO") on 31 March 2022. Mr Foo Kean Shuh will succeed Mr Neo as EVPO with effect from 1 April 2022. Mr Foo will oversee the operations of SIAEC and report to the Chief Executive Officer.

The SIAEC Group is focused on positioning for recovery and the next phase of growth in the emerging aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul landscape and ecosystem. The Company has been accelerating transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and create value for customers and staff. It is reshaping its investment portfolio to develop new capabilities and services, and also actively pursuing new opportunities for organic growth and to strengthen its joint venture portfolio. With the appointment of Mr Foo as EVPO, the SIAEC leadership team will continue to focus on these strategies to strengthen the Group's core businesses and drive opportunities for future growth.

The Board and Management recorded their deep appreciation of Mr Neo's dedicated service in various operations units and support services across SIAEC, and his invaluable contributions for the past 46 years, including the last five years as Executive Vice President Operations. He was instrumental in steering operations through Transformation initiatives that led to improvements in operational excellence, efficiency and turnaround time. His strong belief in developing young talents has also seen him devoting time to nurturing students' interests in aerospace engineering.

Mr Foo Kean Shuh, currently Senior Vice President Corporate Planning, Fleet Management & Commercial, has 27 years of aerospace industry experience and deep organisational and industry expertise. He joined Singapore Airlines in 1994 as a Technical Services Engineer and went on to hold various senior positions in the division, including Vice President Maintenance Planning & Control, Vice President Technical Projects and his last role as Divisional Vice President Engineering (Operations). On 1 June 2016, he was appointed as Senior Vice President Innovation

• Technology in SIA Engineering Company. He then took on the position of Senior Vice President Line Maintenance & Cabin Services, prior to his current appointment as Senior Vice President Corporate Planning, Fleet Management & Commercial.
