Netflix Teams Up with Secuoya on First European Production Hub'

Netflix has announced the imminent inauguration of new headquarters for the production of European original content in Spain. The streaming giant has signed a multi-year contract with Spanish broadcaster and producer Grupo Secuoya, with the latter set to manage all projects produced by Netflix on the 22,000 square-meter Ciudad de la Tele production hub in the northern Madrid suburb of Tres Cantos. In a statement, Netflix said it will
take occupancy of three 1,200 square metre sound-proofed theatres in the facility from September, with the option to occupy additional space as construction completes.
Secuoya Grupo de Comunicacion SA (Secuoya) is a Spain-based company that is active in the audiovisual communication sector. The Company is engaged in the technological and audiovisual content production, outsourcing, design, implementation and maintenance of broadcasting systems. The companies belonging to the group are as follows: CBM - Central Broadcaster Media, Drago Broadcast Corporation, Wikono, Pulse - Current Contents, New Atlantis, Global, Novigo, Viewin, Sequoia Content Distribution, among others.
