SALUS, Ljubljana, d. d. (LJSE:SALR) entered into an agreement to acquire 75% stake in Medicoengineering d.o.o. for €4.1 million on January 7, 2022. Salus will pay €2.72 million ($3.08 million) for the stake, plus a variable sum that will not exceed €1.391 million and will depend on the operations of Medicoengineering in the next two business years. The agreement includes an option to purchase the remaining 25% of Medicoengineering, linked to the company's performance in the coming years.
Salus Ljubljana dd is a Slovenia-based company engaged in the wholesale and distribution of medical products. The Companyâs portfolio includes pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical supplies, food supplements, cosmetic products and other health products. The Company's core clients are pharmacies, hospitals and health centers from both Slovenia and abroad. Moreover, Salus Ljubljana dd offers the products to its business partners through the Internet store. The Company also provides additional services related to the registration of medicines and the distribution and storage of pharmaceuticals and other medical products.
