Salesforce has tapped Denise Dresser, its president of accelerated industries, to take the helm of Slack Technologies.

Chief Executive Marc Benioff said Monday in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Dresser has been named Slack's next chief executive following the exit of Lidiane Jones, who is taking over as chief executive of the dating-app company Bumble.

This is the workplace messaging platform's third chief executive in the past year. Jones succeeded Slack co-founder Stewart Butterfield in January.

Dresser has been at Salesforce for 12 years and previously served as a sales leader at Oracle.
