(Alliance News) - BPER Banca Spa on Monday informed that the rating agency S&P Global, upon completion of the evaluation process, assigned the long-term and short-term issuer ratings which were rated "BBB-" and "A-3," respectively. The outlook regarding all assigned ratings is rated "Positive."

CEO Piero Luigi Montani commented, "The rating from the S&P Global rating agency is a reason for particular satisfaction because it reflects the excellent results achieved in recent years thatv crown an important path of growth. Today's rating in fact joins an important series of positive recognitions obtained by the Bank with regard to creditworthiness. The Investment Grade rating also from S&P Global is testimony to the progress made on the revenue generation front, combined with the consolidation of a robust capital position and solid credit quality that places us as best in class."

BPER Banca closed Monday's session in the green by 2.0 percent at EUR4.10 per share
