ESSEN, Germany (Reuters) - RWE has no appetite for large and structural deals, Chief Executive Markus Krebber told reporters on Thursday, following a media report it was interested in Danish peer Orsted.
Krebber said there were no strategic reasons that would justify bigger transactions, adding smaller deals were possible to grow a certain portfolio.
"But no, as you call it, corporate M&A. We currently don't see that," Krebber said during RWE's annual press conference.
