Uvatneftegaz - part of the Rosneft oil production complex - planted 612,000 pine saplings in the south of the Tyumen Region. The work was carried out in the spring on the territory of 153 hectares in the Abatsky and Aromashevsky districts.

Pine seedlings with an open root system have a good survival rate in the region's conditions. Their planting was held on the areas of the forest fund allocated for reforestation and afforestation.

In the autumn, the company plans to double the forest plantation area by carrying out reforestation and afforestation on an area of more than 300 hectares. By the end of this year, thanks to Uvatneftegaz, more than 1.8 million pines will be planted in the Tyumen region.

Uvatneftegaz annually implements a program for reforestation and artificial replenishment of aquatic biological resources. Employees of the enterprise are actively involved in environmental campaigns such as «Forest Planting Day», «Save the Forest», «Green Spring» and «Water of Russia».
