Renuka City Hotels PLC reported earnings results for the quarter and six months ended September 30, 2018. For the quarter, Revenues were LKR 75,644,000 compared to LKR 68,068,000 a year ago. Profit From Operations was LKR 38,309,000 compared to loss of LKR 7,680,000 a year ago. Profit Before Taxation was LKR 273,289,000 compared to LKR 6,465,000 a year ago. Profit for the year was LKR 271,789,000 compared to LKR 3,465,000 a year ago. Earnings per share was LKR 38.83 compared to LKR 0.50 a year ago.
For the six months, Revenues were LKR 129,626,000 compared to LKR 124,409,000 a year ago. Profit From Operations was LKR 71,200,000 compared to LKR 51,468,000 a year ago. Profit Before Taxation was LKR 388,807,000 compared to LKR 127,939,000 a year ago. Profit for the year was LKR 385,807,000 compared to LKR 121,639,000 a year ago. Earnings per share was LKR 55.12 compared to LKR 17.37 a year ago.
Renuka City Hotels PLC is Sri Lanka-based company, which is engaged in the operation of a tourist hotel, which is located in Colombo. The Company's hotel has approximately 99 guest rooms, including over 20 deluxe rooms.
