(Alliance News) - Racing Force Group Spa announced Thursday that it has signed a partnership agreement for the new film based on the FIA Formula 1 World Championship alongside seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, director Joseph Kosinski, Jerry Bruckenheimer Films and Plan B Entertainment.

OMP, Bell Racing Helmets and Racing Spirit, brands of the Italian group, have been designated to supply the race apparel, helmets and team uniforms for the fictional characters on which the storyline will center.

All Racing Force flame-retardant and head-protection products used in the filming phase will fully adhere to the rigorous FIA homologation standards of real racing.

The director, Joseph Kosinski, who has already directed "Top Gun: Maverick," will produce the work joined by seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton under his company Dawn Apollo Films, along with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment, and the entire F1 community, comprising the championship organization, the ten racing teams and the FIA.

The yet-to-be-titled Formula 1 film will star two-time Academy Awards winner Brad Pitt as a former driver making his return to racing. Ehren Kruger, already an Academy Awards nominee, is working on the screenplay.

Racing Force Group's stock closed Thursday down 1.3 percent at ERU5.88 per share.
