With great pleasure, we announce that effective April 1st, 2023, "Petchem Investment Holdings Pte. Limited", a subsidiary of Indorama Corporation Pte Ltd, Singapore ("Indorama") has acquired 51% shares in TAK Agro & Chemicals Limited ("TAK") Nigeria from Trinus Africa Limited.
Indorama has been providing consistent Urea supplies to support Presidential Fertilizer Initiative (PFI) and private blenders since 2017. In addition to its Urea supplies, Indorama will now offer quality NPK fertilizers to Nigerian farmers. TAK is one of the largest blenders in Nigeria for NPK fertilizers and has 6 blending plants spread across the country. Indorama's acquisition of TAK will help increase NPK fertilizer consumption in the country as it did with Urea fertilizer. Indorama will leverage its production excellence to ensure that quality NPK blends are available to farmers at an affordable price.
