Procter & Gamble has raised its adjusted EPS target range for the 2023-24 financial year, anticipating an increase of 10 to 11% (instead of 8 to 9%), on the occasion of a "solid quarterly publication despite multiple headwinds".

The consumer goods group, which owns the Gillette, Pampers, Ariel and Oral-B brands among others, nevertheless confirms that it expects annual sales growth of 2 to 4% overall, and 4 to 5% in organic terms.

For its third quarter 2023-24, P&G posted adjusted EPS up 11% to $1.52, on sales of $20.2 billion, up 1% overall and 3% organically.
