P-H-O-E-N-I-X Petroleum Philippines, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was PHP 72.03 million compared to PHP 21.72 million a year ago. Revenue was PHP 34,111.42 million compared to PHP 20,164.08 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 82.41 million compared to net income of PHP 292.7 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.16 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.09 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.16 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.09 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was PHP 133.5 million compared to PHP 107.74 million a year ago. Revenue was PHP 102,636.73 million compared to PHP 56,775.59 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 168.8 million compared to net loss of PHP 75.1 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.19 compared to PHP 0.42 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.19 compared to PHP 0.42 a year ago.
P-H-O-E-N-I-X Petroleum Philippines, Inc. is primarily engaged in marketing and distribution of petroleum products to retail and commercial and industrial customers, as well as operating oil depots, storage facilities, and other allied services. The Company's segments include Trading, Depot and Logistics Services, and Real Estate. The Trading segment is engaged in marketing, merchandising, purchasing, selling, dealing, acquiring, disposing and distributing goods and wares, such as petroleum products (on a wholesale basis), adhesives, glues, bonding agents, epoxy resins and lubricants, among others. The Depot and Logistics Services segment is engaged in operating oil depots and storage facilities and providing logistics services. The Real Estate segment is involved in real estate development, management and operations. The Companyâs products include fuels, lubricants, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), asphalt and PNX lubricants.
