As part of its commitment to caring for the community, Ooredoo Oman has launched a brand-new donation service through its mobile app. Android users are now able to make contributions to a range of charitable organisations including the Ministry of Health, Oman Charitable Organisation, Dar Al Atta'a, the Omani Bahja Orphan Society, Oman Cancer Association, Oman Diabetes Association, the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability, the Al Rahma Association for Motherhood and Child Welfare, and the Omani Association for the Hearing Impaired, securely and within seconds.

Raed Dawood, Director of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, "At Ooredoo we believe our place is in the heart of the community. As such, we continue to build on not only our own social initiatives, but on empowering the community to find more ways to help too. Our new service is an important addition to our growing digital services, facilitating the donation process in an innovative way, while making people's lives better."

Donations are easy and can be made an unlimited number of times. Part of Ooredoo's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Goodwill, it continues to work alongside voluntary organisations, the government, and non-government organisations (NGOs) to support the economic and social development of all society members. In addition to the new app donation feature, the telecoms company also offers special donation services via SMS.

Easy to download and use, the Ooredoo Oman App can be found on the Apple store or Google Play.
