Muscat, Oman

Continuing to set benchmarks in the telecoms industry, Ooredoo Oman's Chief Executive Officer, Noor Al Sulaiti, has been named among the region's 20 Women to Watch by Capacity Media. It's the fifth edition of the annual power listing, which recognises noteworthy women in the telecoms and tech sector. With 2022 seeing the highest number of submissions since the list's launch in 2018, 20 Women to Watch serves as an index that shines a light on women across the arena who have achieved significant results or reached major milestones in their respective fields, while breaking barriers in the process.

Noor Al Sulaiti said, "It's an honour to be named in Capacity Media's power list alongside so many inspirational women. I feel very lucky to be among many examples of positive female talent at Ooredoo, which is a testament of our ongoing commitment to nurturing women's empowerment and an equal opportunities culture. Together, we are highlighting the enormous talent that exists in the region and setting an example to any budding professional that no industry or achievement is out of reach."

Noor Al Sulaiti joined Ooredoo Oman as CEO in mid-2021, and has since embarked on an ambitious vision towards being a digitally-led, sustainable, and customer-centric telecoms company. A graduate of Computer Science with an MBA in Strategic Management, she has worked in the telecoms for 19 years, having previously held the role of CEO at Starlink, one of the Ooredoo Group's subsidiaries in Qatar, and senior leadership positions in Phono and FASTtelco in Kuwait.
