CHICAGO (AP) _ Oil-Dri Corp. of America (ODC) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $5.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Chicago-based company said it had profit of 83 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 65 cents per share.

The maker of products for soil in the agriculture, horticulture and sports sectors posted revenue of $64.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $18.9 million, or $2.65 per share. Revenue was reported as $283.2 million.

Oil-Dri shares have fallen slightly more than 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $35.79, an increase of slightly more than 8% in the last 12 months.
