TOKYO, Dec 20 (Reuters) - The family office linked to Nintendo's founder has decided to withdraw its tender offer proposal to Toyo Construction as it was unable to win the target company's agreement, the Nikkei reported on Wednesday.

The investment firm, Yamauchi family-No.10 Family Office, has been in talks with Toyo after it offered to buyout the marine construction firm in May last year but Toyo has been pushing back against the proposal. (Reporting by Mariko Katsumura; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
