Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad announced the impending appointment of current Board member Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin (Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee) as its new Chairman, effective 1 May 2024. This will follow the retirement of YAM Tan Sri Dato' Seri Syed Anwar Jamalullail, who will step down after the next Annual General Meeting, marking 15 years at the helm of the Board of Directors. With extensive experience spanning over 40 years, Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee?s career includes leadership roles across a spectrum of prominent organizations such as PETRONAS, Malaysia Airlines Berhad and Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad.

With wide expertise in management, leadership development, finance, regulatory affairs and economics, Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee also served as a member of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council, Northern Corridor Implementation Authority, ASEAN Council on Petroleum, as well as the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Stewardship Board of System Initiative on Shaping the Future of Energy, WEF's Oil & Gas Governors Forum, and the WEF Oil & Gas Action Group. Currently, he chairs the boards of DRB-HICOM Berhad and Gas Malaysia Berhad. Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee has also made significant contributions to the academic realm.

He presently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Razak School of Government and as an Adjunct Professor at the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences at IIUM. He also previously held the positions of Pro Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, member of the Advisory Council of Institut Pentadbiran Awam (INTAN) and Industry Advisor for the Engineering Faculty of University Putra Malaysia. The Company will make the necessary announcement on the Change in the Boardroom, once the change take effect.
