MADRID, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Spanish hotel chain Melia returned to profit in 2022 after two years of losses, it said on Monday, as the travel industry recovered from COVID-19 restrictions and on higher room prices.

The Mallorca-based group reported a net profit of 120.1 million euros ($127.40 million) compared with a net loss of 192.9 million euros a year ago.
