Dillard's will partner with Citigroup and Mastercard on its new credit-card program for customers.
The department-store chain said Monday that Mastercard would serve as the exclusive payment network for co-branded cards under the new program, while Citi will purchase the existing Dillard's credit card accounts.
The program offered by Citi will include a co-branded Mastercard and a private-label credit card.
The program is expected to be available in late summer for new applicants. Existing accounts will be transferred to Citi in the fall.
The new co-branded Mastercard will replace existing co-branded cards.
