On November 16, 2023, the Board of Directors (the ?Board?) of Lyft, Inc. (the ?Company?) appointed Betsey Stevenson to serve as a member of the Board, effective immediately. She will serve as a Class III director with a term of office expiring at the Company?s 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Ms. Stevenson has also been appointed as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board, effective November 16, 2023.

Ms. Stevenson has served as a Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy since September 2019. From September 2012 to September 2019, she was an Associate Professor of Public Policy and Economics with tenure. From July 2013 to August 2015, Ms. Stevenson served as a Member on the Council of Economic Advisers for The White House.

Prior to The White House, Ms. Stevenson served as the Chief Economist for the U.S. Department of Labor, and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Ms. Stevenson is the co-author of several economics textbooks published by Macmillan Learning. She is a columnist for Bloomberg and a frequent speaker on the economy.

Ms. Stevenson holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Wellesley College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. Ms. Stevenson was selected to serve on the Board because of her significant experience in economics and public policy.
