The union announced on Friday that all departures from Germany between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday will be subject to strike action. The vacation airline, which was founded in 2021, has 24 Airbus aircraft and takes off from the Lufthansa hubs in Frankfurt and Munich.

DSW sues Wirecard auditor EY for damages

MUNICH - The Deutsche Schutzvereinigung für Wertpapierbesitz (DSW) has filed a claim for damages against the auditors EY on behalf of more than 13,000 Wirecard investors. The lawsuit, which is 80,000 pages long with attachments, was filed with the Munich Regional Court on Friday, DSW announced in Düsseldorf on Friday. Institutional and private investors are demanding more than 700 million euros from EY. The costs of the lawsuit will be borne by British litigation funders, who will receive part of the money claimed in the event of success.
