LINTEC Corporation Provides Consolidated and Non Consolidated Earnings Guidance for the Fiscal Year Ending March 2022

LINTEC Corporation provided consolidated and non consolidated earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 2022. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales will increase by JPY 4.1 billion, or 1.7%, to JPY 240 billion, and operating income will increase by JPY 0.5 billion, or 2.8%, to JPY 17.5 billion. Ordinary income is expected to increase by JPY 0.7 billion, or 4.3%, to JPY 17.5 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the parent company is expected to increase by JPY 1.1 billion, or 9.6%, to JPY 12.5 billion.
For the year, on non consolidated basis, the company expects net sales to decrease JPY 6.4 billion YoY, or 4.1%, to JPY 151.6 billion, and net sales of consolidated subsidiaries are expected to increase JPY 11.5 billion, or 9.5%, to JPY 132.4 billion. Operating income is expected to be JPY 9.9 billion on a non-consolidated basis, which is about the same as the same period of the previous year, and JPY 7.6 billion for consolidated subsidiaries, a YoY increase of JPY0.5 billion, or 7.0%. On a non-consolidated basis, they expect an increase in operating income of JPY 2 billion due to an increase in sales volume, while they expect a decrease of JPY 1.2 billion due to an increase in raw material and fuel prices and JPY 0.8 billion due to an increase in fixed costs such as personnel expenses.

The Printing and Industrial Material-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of adhesive products for seals and labels, label printing machinery, barcode printers, film used for outdoor signages and advertisement, window film, automobile adhesive products and industrial adhesive tape, among others. The Electronic and Optic-related segment provides semiconductor-related adhesive products, semiconductor-related machinery, coating film for laminated ceramic capacitors and optical-related products. The Western Paper and Processing Material-related segment manufactures and sells paper of colorful envelopes, special functional paper, released paper, released film, as well as casting paper for carbon fiber composite materials and synthetic leather.
