Lilis Energy, Inc., along with its five affiliates filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on June 28, 2020. The debtor listed both its assets and liabilities in the range of $100 million to $500 million. The debtor is represented by Harry Allen Perrin of Vinson Elkins LLP as its legal counsel and Zabel Freeman LLP as counsel in the ARM/SCM litigation and the litigation commenced by the Oil Patch Group and as an advisor to represent and assist the company. The debtor also hired Barclays Capital, Inc. as its financial advisor and investment banker and Opportune LLP as operational financial advisor. BDO, USA LLP acted as accountant and tax advisor. Stretto acted as notice, claims and solicitation agent.
