Kingspan has been named as a global leader for its actions and strategies in response to climate change and awarded a position on the Climate 'A' List by CDP. This is the fifth year that Kingspan has earned a top spot on the 'A List' by CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) the charity that measures environmental impact of companies on behalf of 515 leading global investors representing US$106 trillion in assets.

CDP's annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognised as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency. The A List names the companies leading on environmental transparency and action, and recognises us as a corporate leader for sustainable practises.

Kingspan's ongoing climate change focus is part of its Planet Passionate programme, an ambitious 10-year global sustainability strategy to significantly reduce our environmental footprint as we continue to grow our global business, further enhance the environmental performance of our products and to make a meaningful contribution towards the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

As part of its journey, Kingspan Group has seen over a 90% reduction in energy carbon intensity across its operations, and is benefitting from 34 GWh of energy generated on its own sites. We are 90% on track to Net Zero Energy with a 35% reduction in light and heat costs. The total projected potential energy savings* over the lifetime of the Kingspan insulation systems sold worldwide in 2019 is equivalent to taking 79 million cars off the road annually.
