James Miller announced that he will retire as chairman and independent director of Kingfish Limited, Barramundi Limited and Marlin Global Limited on 31 August 2012. June 2012. His decision to retire is due to his ongoing commitments with Mighty River Power, Auckland International Airport, the Financial Markets Authority and NZX.

Alistair Ryan will replace James as the new Chairman of the Kingfish, Barramundi and Marlin Global having had a three month transition period. Alistair is highly regarded by the New Zealand and Australian investment community and has extensive corporate and finance sector experience having worked in a range of top level roles across all areas including; corporate governance, financial reporting, risk management, treasury and investor relations. Carol Campbell will become the new Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Carol brings over 30 years of financial experience and a sound understanding of efficient Board governance. Carol has the skills and expertise to provide leadership in the audit and risk domain.
