Satori Electric Co., Ltd. (TSE:7420) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 2,343,000 shares, representing 14.24% of the outstanding shares for ¥3,495.76 million. The shares will be repurchased at price of ¥1,492 per share.
The purpose of the repurchase program is to improving capital efficiency such as earnings per share (EPS) and return on equity (ROE). The program will run until June 6, 2023. As of February 28, 2023, the company had 16,454,451 shares outstanding (excluding treasury) and 1,492,375 shares in treasury.
