ITOCHU Corporation announced personnel changes. The company has named Junichi Tobisawa as General Manager, Planning & Development Department, Tohoku Branch; General Manager, Energy, Metals & Minerals Department, Tohoku Branch. Currently Junichi is working in Planning & Administration Department, Metals & Minerals Company; Human Resources & General Affairs Division; Food Management Support Corporation; Ichirou Kurata as Senior Officer, Food Products Marketing & Distribution Division. Currently, Ichirou is working as Group Director, Food Group, ITOCHU Europe PLC; ITOCHU Europe PLC. The appointments are effective as of June 1, 2017.
Itochu Corporation is a diversified group organized around 8 areas of activity:
- distribution of food products (34.9% of net sales): frozen food, vegetable oil, sweeteners, sugars, etc.;
- distribution of hydrocarbons (23.3%): hydrocarbons (natural gas, oil products, bioethanol, etc.). The group also develops manufacturing of chemical products activity;
