ING Bank Slaski S.A. Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended June 30, 2023

ING Bank Slaski S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was PLN 2,054 million compared to PLN 1,898.5 million a year ago. Net income was PLN 1,099.4 million compared to PLN 573 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 8.45 compared to PLN 4.4 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was PLN 3,914.4 million compared to PLN 3,631.1 million a year ago. Net income was PLN 2,008.1 million compared to PLN 1,365.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 15.43 compared to PLN 10.5 a year ago.
ING Bank Slaski SA is a Poland-based commercial Bank. The Bank divides its business into two segments: Retail Banking segment and Corporate Banking segment. Its offer includes currents accounts, savings, credits and loans credit and paying cards, insurances, electronic banking, broker activities and fund management and other activities connected with finance, insurance and pension funds. As of December 31, 2012, the Bankâs subsidiaries and affiliated entities were ING Securities SA, Centrum Banku Slaskiego Sp. z o.o., ING ABL Polska SA, ING Uslugi dla Biznesu SA, Solver Sp. z o.o. and ING Powszechte Towarzystwo Emerytalne SA. The Bankâs major shareholder was ING Bank NV, with a 75% stake of its capital.
