Jan 11 (Reuters) - Events organiser Informa said on Thursday it expected and a jump in profit in 2024, as the British firm benefits from sustained post-pandemic demand for in-person events as it branches out into new markets.

The London-listed company expects high single-digit revenue growth this year as its expansion into markets such as healthcare and luxury pays off.

Informa now expects 2024 adjusted operating profit in the range of 945 million pounds and 965 million pounds ($1.21 billion to $1.23 billion).

That is higher than the profit of 845 million pounds it expects for 2023.

Informa, on Wednesday, agreed to combine its digital businesses with U.S.-based TechTarget. ($1 = 0.7833 pounds) (Reporting by Aby Jose Koilparambil in Bengaluru; Editing by Rashmi Aich)
