Holcim has announced a 9% increase in adjusted EPS to a record level of 5.42 Swiss francs for 2023, as well as recurring EBIT of 4.76 billion, representing a margin of 17.6% on sales of 27 billion, down 7.5% (but +6.1% in organic terms).

Its Board of Directors is proposing a 12% increase in the dividend to CHF 2.80 per registered share, and is planning a share buyback program worth a total of CHF 1 billion until the end of the current year.

For 2024, the Swiss building materials group forecasts organic sales growth in excess of 4%, over-proportional growth in recurring EBIT and an increase in recurring operating margin to 18%.
