Guillermo Ortiz resigned as chairman of Grupo Financiero Banorte and will be replaced by Carlos Hank González at the end of the year. CEO Alejandro Valenzuela will also step down. Valenzuela was replaced effective immediately by José Marcos Ramírez.
Prior to his appointment, Ramírez served as managing director of wholesale banking at the group.
