Grandsouth Bancorporation is the holding company for GrandSouth Bank (the Bank). The Bank offers an array of commercial bank services. The Bank's business consists primarily of accepting deposits from individuals and small businesses and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, primarily in loans secured by real estate, including commercial real estate loans, one-to-four family residential mortgage loans, construction and development loans, and home equity loans and lines of credit. In addition, it originates commercial business loans and invest in investment securities. It also provides specialty floor plan lending to small auto dealerships through a separate division of the Bank under the trade name CarBucks. It offers a variety of deposit accounts, including savings accounts, certificates of deposit, money market accounts, commercial and regular checking accounts, and individual retirement accounts.
