GAUSSIN announces an order for 36 APM 75T HE electric tractors, 24 Powerpacks and 6 charging stations from BOLLORE PORTS and MAERSK

GAUSSIN (EURONEXT GROWTH: ALGAU - FR0013495298) announces a contract from CIT Abidjan, a port in Ivory Coast operated jointly by Bolloré Ports and APM Terminals, a Maersk Group subsidiary, for 36 APM 75T HE electric tractors, 24 Powerpacks and 6 36-channelcharging stations.

This historic order is the largest since the launch of the APM 75T HE, a 100% electric tractor designed to transport containers in ports. It represents a turnover of 9.9 million euros and is to be delivered in 2021.

CIT, a model zero-emission container terminal in Africa

The CIT port is a new terminal in Abidjan with a capacity of 1.2 million containers a year and a total surface of 37.5 hectares. Equipped with 6 quay cranes and 13 electric RTG gantry cranes, CIT is the first container terminal in Africa to integrate as much electric equipment, thus paving the way for a new vision of ecological development on the continent.

Maersk and Bolloré Ports, two giants in port operations

Maersk operates 74 port and terminal facilities in 40 countries on five continents, with five new port projects in development, as well as over 100 Inland Services operations providing container transportation, management, maintenance and repair in 38 countries, for an overall global presence of 58 countries.

Bolloré Ports operates 20 ports in the workd and is the first port infrastructure operator in Africa and leader leader in container terminal management on this continent. Each year, Bolloré Ports invests around 250 million euros in the construction and enhancement of the port infrastructure entrusted to it to meet the needs of its customers, shipowners, importers and exporters.

The conclusion of 12 months of intensive testing at the CT1 terminal in Abidjan

This order from Maersk and Bolloré Ports marks the success of the tests conducted by Bolloré Ports for nearly 12 months with the 2 APM vehicles acquired in 2019 for the nearby CT1 terminal in Abidjan.

A vehicle co-developed with Bolloré Ports

This order marks a new stage in the collaboration between Gaussin and Bollorés Ports.

GAUSSIN had announced in March 2019 the signing of a Framework Agreement with preferential rights valid until December 31, 2025 with Unicaf, Bolloré Group's central purchasing unit, for the APM 75T "HE" Hot Environment, 100% electric, equipped with the POWERPACK® LMP® from Blue Solutions. This agreement was, itself, the culmination of the contract signed in February 2018 to co-develop the APM 75T. The vehicle was designed to incorporate the technical specifications used by Bolloré Ports at the ports it operates.

"The APM 75T HE equipped with Blue Solution's "all-solid" LMP® Lithium Metal Polymer batteries was launched in 2019 and continues its penetration of the port tractor market. After sales in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, we are proud to contribute to the decarbonization of port operations on the African continent with this major order from two giants of the port sector. We are happy to make this

announcement on Earth Day," said Christophe Gaussin, CEO of GAUSSIN.
