At the annual PLC Awards 2012 held on the evening of March 7th, Fuller's was awarded the title of Company of the Year.

The PLC Awards, sponsored by PwC, are among the most prestigious in the city. The judging process is rigorous and includes votes from readers of the Financial Times as well as a panel of respected city executives.

The judges were looking for a company whose success is clearly not a short-term phenomenon. To this end, they highlighted Fuller's consistent long term strategy of style over fashion and our shrewd additions to the pub estate as key factors in our success. One analyst commentator added "They are picking up high quality assets because they are a high quality business.

It operates through two segments: Managed Pubs and Hotels, and Tenanted Inns. Its Managed Pubs and Hotels include Cotswold Inns & Hotels operates approximately seven hotels in the Cotswolds, and Bel & The Dragon operates approximately six exquisite modern English inns located in the Home Counties.
