Fuji Offset Plates Manufacturing Ltd. provided profit guidance for the financial year ended 31 December 2022. The Group is expected to report a higher operating loss for year 2022 primarily due to lower revenue and gross profit margin from the sale of printing cylinders due to keen competition and higher cost of sales, coupled with net foreign exchange loss and absence of non-recurring fair value gain on loan to Star City. Notwithstanding the above, however, the Group is expected to report significantly higher profit for the year attributable to Owners of the Company due to higher share of results of associate (net of tax).
