The contract will run until September 2025 and marks Fugro's fourth consecutive award of this kind from the St. Louis District.

Services associated with the award include photogrammetry, lidar mapping, oblique imagery, topographic and planimetric mapping, land use and land cover mapping, and disaster response mapping. New to this contract cycle is the availability of two emerging capabilities: Fugro RAMMS, a next-generation airborne lidar bathymetry system for nearshore and coastal mapping, and Fugro SIMmetryTM, a user-friendly GIS-based tool for managing and visualising disparate types of Geo-data in 3D. Both technologies support Fugro's ongoing effort to increase the safety, efficiency and sustainability of Geo-data collection and delivery.

'We are pleased to continue our partnership with the USACE and to apply innovative technologies to support their important mission,' said Dave White, Fugro's Manager for Land and Property in the Americas. 'Having worked with the St. Louis District on many essential programmes and initiatives, we have a deep understanding of their Geo-data needs and are dedicated to providing the critical information and solutions required to efficiently maintain and improve property, lands and waterways, including the ability to rapidly and safely respond to hazards and natural disasters.'
