Finsbury Food delays meetings after speaking to shareholders

Finsbury Food Group PLC - Cardiff-based baked goods manufacturer - Intends to adjourn court meeting and general meeting scheduled for October 23. Notes the court meeting was to approve the scheme by which the bid for the company from DBAY Advisors Ltd. Explains the decision follows feedback received from Finsbury shareholders in connection with the scheme. Expects court meeting and general meeting to now take place on November 3. Reaffirms recommendation of the bid terms.

The Company holds a portfolio of licensed brands in the cake and bread sectors, which include Disney, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Mattel, Nintendo, and Xbox, among others.
