FESCO Transportation Group and JSC RZD Logistics (a subsidiary of JSC Russian Railways) have expanded the range of goods transported from the Asia-Pacific region (APR) to Europe as part of the Trans-Siberian LandBridge accelerated rail transit freight delivery service development, by adding dangerous goods. Containers with acids used in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries shipped from Qingdao (China), as well as with auto parts and various equipment from Busan (Republic of Korea) were delivered by FESCO's regular sea shipping service to FESCO's structural division Commercial Port of Vladivostok, where they were shipped further by an accelerated container train which arrived in Brest on March 10, the transit time from Vladivostok to Brest being 12 days. The containers were then loaded on 1,435 mm rolling stock, transported to destination stations and delivered by road to customers' warehouses in Poland, Belgium and Germany.
