New FACC Kids Club for reconciling work and family life in the best possible way

FACC attaches great importance to reconciling family and career: In cooperation with the Association of Innviertel Childminders, the internationally leading aerospace group has been offering childcare to its employees since 2017. In its two 'Kids Clubs' in St. Martin and Ried im Innkreis, dedicated childminders provide flexible care all year round. In order to provide the youngest family members of the FACC crew with the best at all times, the children can now look forward to a new, modern daycare centre in Ried. And: Parents can enjoy optimum support during the summer months too.

FACC AG is committed to offering its employees a family-friendly working environment. 'As an important and responsible supra-regional employer, we are constantly striving to create an ideal environment for our crew and their families. Combining work and family life is often a challenge, particularly for parents of younger children. With our professional and flexible childcare services, we not only support our employees, but also offer their offspring the best of care that is tailored to meet the children's needs perfectly,' emphasizes Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC AG. The highest standards apply not only to FACC products and services, but also to childcare. This is why the youngest can now look forward to a new modern daycare centre: the new Kids Club in Ried, which was recently opened.

Fun for children in state-of-the-art facilities

The new Kids Club provides the children with a well-equipped, modern company daycare centre: On a floor space of more than 80 square meters, the children can enjoy a large group room, a room for physical activity and a quiet room with plenty of space to play, let off steam and relax. In good weather, the balcony and the playground in front of the house are also available for use. The facilities offer everything a child could wish for, and are equipped with numerous resources for playing, handicrafts and learning. From Monday to Friday, our childminders take care of children from the age of one in a professional and nurturing environment, and support them in their development. 'This way, flexible and attractive childcare is available to our FACC crew all year round - even in the summer, when many kindergartens take a monthly break,' explains Machtlinger.

Care throughout the year

It is particularly challenging for working mothers and fathers to have to make alternative arrangements when the kindergartens are closed for the summer. Since 2015, FACC has therefore been offering its staff special summer childcare, which has been very well received by employees, in addition to its regular childcare services. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 are cared for in St.Martin and Ried im Innkreis. FACC also assists parents by making a financial contribution.

Flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home supplement the measures taken to help young parents in the company reconcile the demands of family and career. 'In many cases, a kindergarten cannot solve all the challenges. That is why we also design many of our jobs to be as flexible as possible in terms of working hours and workplace,' emphasizes Georg Horacek, Vice President of Human Resources. This way, working mothers and fathers are assisted in the best possible way - particularly in times of the corona pandemic, which are a challenge in themselves.
