MyPlanAdvocate Insurance Solutions, Inc. acquired 100% membership interests in Eversurance, LLC from EverQuote, Inc. (NasdaqGM:EVER) for $13.2 million on August 1, 2023. The consideration paid in cash, is subject to customary post-closing adjustments. Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. acted as legal advisor to MyPlanAdvocate and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP acted as legal advisor to EverQuote.

EverQuote, Inc. operates an online marketplace for insurance shopping, connecting consumers with insurance provider customers, which includes both carriers and agents. The Companyâs data and technology platform, matches and connects consumers seeking to purchase insurance with relevant options from its network of insurance providers, saving consumers and providers time and money. Its technology platform combines internally developed, third-party and open-source software.
