Renúncia do Presidente do Conselho de Administração
A Eternit S.A. - em Recuperação Judicial (B3: ETER3, "Companhia") informa aos seus acionistas e ao Mercado, nos termos da Resolução CVM n° 44 de 23/08/2021 ("RCVM 44"), que tomou conhecimento da Carta de Renúncia ("CARTA") do atual Presidente do Conselho de Administração - Sr. Marcelo Gasparino da Silva - quanto a sua posição de Chairman e de membro do Conselho de Administração da Companhia. A Carta relata, ainda, que o Sr. Marcelo permanecerá com suas funções regulares até o dia 21/03/2023, data programada para a realização da Assembleia Geral Ordinária e Extraordinária da Eternit.
A Eternit manterá os seus acionistas e o mercado em geral informados a respeito dos assuntos tratados neste Fato Relevante.

Resignation of Chairman of the Board of Directors
Eternit S.A. - under Court-Supervised Reorganization (B3: ETER3, "Company"), pursuant to Resolution 44 of August 23, 2021 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) ("RCVM 44"), hereby informs its shareholders and the market that it received the Resignation Letter ("Letter") tendered by Marcelo Gasparino da Silva from his position as chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the Company. The Letter also states that Mr. Silva will remain in office until March 21, 2023, the date when the Annual and Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting of Eternit will be held.
Eternit will keep its shareholders and the market informed of further developments on the subject matter of this Material Fact notice.

Eternit SA, formerly Industrias Eternit SA, is a Brazil-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of construction materials made from fiber cement, cement, concrete, plaster, metal and plastic. In February 2012, the Company entered in the segment of metal sanitary ware.
