ErreDue, PEM electrolyzer to be contracted for more than EUR1 million

(Alliance News) - ErreDue Spa on Wednesday announced an agreement with the company Foglia Umberto Srl for the supply of a 1 MW PEM electrolysis plant that will be delivered in 2025 and used for the production and storage of green hydrogen within the Waste Disposal Plant Pole to be built in the Municipality of Guglionesi, Molise Region.

The green hydrogen produced by the PEM electrolyzer will be stored and then reused to produce heat for use within the hub.

With this contract of more than EUR1.2 million, ErreDue is taking part in a highly innovative project in the area of sustainability of production processes, which aims to create a production hub in which the economy depends entirely on the energy produced by green hydrogen and no longer on oil and natural gas, the company explained in a note.

ErreDue trades in the green by 2.6 percent at EUR7.90 per share.

Erredue SpA is an Italy-based Company engaged in manufacturing equipment that generates/produces gases (particularly hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen) available to customers and directly accessible at any needed locations. The Company directly produces, sells, and rents gas handling equipment, taking care directly of all production stages: research, design, construction, and after-sales activities. The generators produced are used in many sectors, such as metallurgical, engineering, food, pharmaceutical, marine, energy, etc. In addition, our generators are mostly used in industrial processes to supplement or replace direct gas supply.
