(Alliance News) - ErreDue Spa on Wednesday announced an agreement with the company Foglia Umberto Srl for the supply of a 1 MW PEM electrolysis plant that will be delivered in 2025 and used for the production and storage of green hydrogen within the Waste Disposal Plant Pole to be built in the Municipality of Guglionesi, Molise Region.

The green hydrogen produced by the PEM electrolyzer will be stored and then reused to produce heat for use within the hub.

With this contract of more than EUR1.2 million, ErreDue is taking part in a highly innovative project in the area of sustainability of production processes, which aims to create a production hub in which the economy depends entirely on the energy produced by green hydrogen and no longer on oil and natural gas, the company explained in a note.

ErreDue trades in the green by 2.6 percent at EUR7.90 per share.
