Dubai-based banking Emirates NBD Bank PJSC (DFM:EMIRATESNBD) is considering a stake purchase in India-based Yes Bank Limited (NSEI:YESBANK). Emirates is said to be considering a controlling stake in Yes Bank, Moneycontrol has reported. The initial bid submissions for Yes Bank are expected by the end of the month.
Yes Bank has been going through a lean period following alleged financial problems and scandals.
