Embassy Bancorp, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 10.541 million compared to USD 9.244 million a year ago. Net income was USD 4.107 million compared to USD 3.317 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.55 compared to USD 0.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.54 compared to USD 0.44 a year ago. For the half year, net interest income was USD 21.193 million compared to USD 18.035 million a year ago. Net income was USD 8.151 million compared to USD 5.774 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.08 compared to USD 0.77 a year ago.
