Eli Lilly has announced that Johna Norton, Executive Vice President, Quality, will retire on July 31, 2024 after 34 years with the company.

Until that date, she will continue to carry out her duties to the full. The laboratory reports that it has begun an active search, both internally and externally, to recruit her successor.

Johna Norton has been with Lilly since 1990, starting out as an analytical chemist and subsequently holding various management positions in quality assurance and quality control. In 2017, she was named one of FiercePharma's Top Women in Life Sciences.
