Doha Bank named "Bank of the Year 2013 - Qatar" at The Banker Awards in London
Outstanding results and a strong international growth strategy inspite of challenging global conditions, have made Doha Bank the top banking brand in Qatar according to 'The Banker'.
London, 28 November 2013 - Doha Bank, the leading commercial bank in the State of Qatar, has been named 'Bank of the Year 2013 - Qatar' by The Banker magazine, an affiliate publication of 'The Financial Times'.
The 14th Bank of the Year awards was held in London and recognized leading banks from markets around the world. The awards recognize institutions that have risen to the challenges posed by the tough global operating environments by demonstrating innovation, efficiency and vigilant risk management for the benefit of their customers and the economies in which they operate.
On behalf of Doha Bank, His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Bin Mohammad Bin Jabor Al-Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Group CEO Dr. R. Seetharaman along with senior delegation attended the award function.
