Dassault Aviation elevated Olivier Villa to the position of Executive Vice President, Civil Aircraft. Carlos Brana was appointed as Senior Vice President, Civil Aircraft and will act as his deputy. In his new role, Villa will assume full responsibility for developing and implementing the Falcon group strategy. In particular, he will play a key role in Dassault Aviation's new organizational setup, designed to help the company meet the civilian market challenges over the next decade. Prior to his appointment, Villa served as Senior Vice President of Civil Aircraft for Dassault Aviation, overseeing marketing, sales and customer support activities for Dassault's civil aircraft division.Villa's career at Dassault spans more than three decades and has covered many of the company's most successful business jet products. During his eight year stint as Vice president for Falcon Programs, he was responsible for development of the Falcon 50EX, 900EX and 2000EX aircraft, the EASy cockpit and the initial work on the 7X. As Villa's deputy, Brana will take on leadership of worldwide sales and marketing activities. Brana previously served as Senior Vice President, Teterboro Operations, where he oversaw a wide range of activities, including finance, specification and design, contracts, the company-owned service center network and numerous customer support initiatives. While serving over three decades within Dassault, Brana has also worked in numerous other capacities, including as an engineer on the Rafale fighter demonstrator.
